It can be useful to save content like photos and videos to be re-used in the future, and our Content Library makes this a simple process from the Consumer Fusion dashboard and mobile app. 

Adding Categories

To get started with the Content Library, first you’ll need to create at least one category for your content. Note: It is best to create categories from your corporate or parent account in Consumer Fusion, since the location that a category is created under is the only one that will be able to add or edit content in that category (all other locations will be able to use the content but not manage it). 


To add your first category, navigate to the settings page of the dashboard by clicking on the gear icon in the top right: 



Next, click on the Content Library option under Social Media Items in the menu on the left: 



Then, click on the Create New Folder button: 


Enter a name for your category and click the check mark icon: 



You can continue adding as many categories as you want, but you will need at least one in order to proceed to the next step. 

Uploading Content

To upload content to the content library, start by clicking or dragging and dropping your content in the top right area of the Content Library page of the dashboard (note: you will only be able to add edit content in a category from the location that originally created the category). 


Note that the content will be added under whichever category is selected (click on the category name to select it): 




You should see a file selector that you can use to select content to add to the Content Library. Select the media that you would like to add and then click the Open button: 



You should see the image or video that you selected appear in your content library under the category that you selected: 




Editing Content in Your Content Library

You can delete content or edit the category that it is in by clicking on the circular icon in the top right of the media item: 



A button then appears that allows you to delete the selected item(s): 



Note: Content for a particular category can only be edited when you are logged in as the location that originally created the category. 



Using the Content Library From the Dashboard

You can use the content from your Content Library when drafting a new social media post in Consumer Fusion. To access the content from your library, click on the Content Library icon on the Schedule & Post page: 


Click on the “Private” tab to select your content library (you can also use the content from the General tab, which is general content that Consumer Fusion provides to all of our customers):




Click the circular icon on any piece of content to select it: 



Then click on the green Choose button to add the content to your post: 


You can repeat this process for any additional content that you would like to add to your post. 


Using the Content Library From the Mobile App

You can also use the content that you add to the Content Library from the Consumer Fusion mobile app. 



One way to use content from the Content Library is to click on the Post icon in the bottom bar or the Create a Post button on the Home screen: 





From here, click on the Add a Photo/Video button: 




Next, click on the Content Library option: 




Next, click on the “Private Folder” option and then tap on the photo or video that you would like to use: 



Finally, click the Select button once you have picked the correct image or video: 



Your content will be added to your post. You can then complete your post by adding more media, publishing it, or scheduling it for later:


 



One other way to access your Content Library from the mobile app is via the Menu page. To do this, first tap on the Menu icon in the bottom right: 



Next, select the Content Library option: 



From here you will be able to select content from your library and then continue to draft a post, similar to the steps mentioned above for drafting a social media post.
