Sometimes it is necessary to opt a user out from receiving communications such as review requests or NPS surveys, and this is easy to do in the dashboard.
Opting Out Users Who Have Received a Review Request
If someone has already received a review request before, they can be opted out of receiving any future communications directly on the Review Requests page in the dashboard.
For each contact that has received a review request, there is an Opt Out button on the right side of the page to opt them out:
Viewing Unsubscribed Users
You can see the list of users who have been unsubscribed by navigating to the Unsubscribed Contacts page in the Settings area of the Dashboard:
This page shows the list of all users who have been unsubscribed, with a tab for Unsubscribed Emails and another for Unsubscribed Phone Numbers:
Add a New Opt Out
There is also an option on the Unsubscribed Contacts page to add a new opt out, which allows you to opt out an email or phone number even if a review request or NPS survey has never previously been sent to the contact:
After clicking on the New Opt Out button, you will see the option to opt out an Email address and/or a Phone Number:
