It’s important for your business to be listed on online directories so that it’s easy for customers to find you anywhere they look, and Consumer Fusion makes this a seamless process for you to manage.
When you first sign up for Consumer Fusion, our team will automatically take the necessary steps to get your business listed on all of the top directories as long as your package includes local listings.
To check on the status of your local listings in the dashboard, first click on the Summary option in the Local Listings section of the main navigation at the top of the dashboard:
The Summary page provides an overview of your local directory listings, and if you manage multiple businesses on Consumer Fusion it should list information for all of the locations selected in the Locations dropdown on the top right of the page:
If you click on the Local Listings tab at the top of the page, you will see a full list of directories for a single business and you can change between the different businesses that you manage using the toggle at the top of the page:
Clicking on the Analytics tab will show you a breakdown of your performance on local directories, including details like views and interactions on your Google business profile:
If you want to edit any details about your business, simply click on the Manage tab at the top, which will take you to the Manage page:
To edit the details for a business that you manage, click on the edit icon for the business that you want to edit the details for:
This will take you to a form where you can edit the details for that business:
If you are subscribed to a package that includes local listings and have your Google profile connected, you may notice that we automatically check to see if the fields on the form match what is currently published to your Google Business Profile. If there is a mismatch between a value in our form and what is on Google, a “Google Business Profile Mismatch” message will appear, and if there is information on your Google page that is missing from the dashboard, a blue “Google Business Profile Recommendation” message will appear:
For either of these Google recommendation messages, clicking on “Use Recommendation” will update the field in the dashboard to match what is on your Google Business Profile, which is recommended unless you want to update that field on Google.
Once you are done editing, you will need to click the button at the bottom if you want to finalize your changes. Depending on your package and account setup, the text of the button will differ:
If your package does not include local listings management, or if your local listings connections are not configured, you will see a “Save Locally” that will save your changes in the dashboard.
If your package includes local listings, and at least one of our listings publishers is configured (either a Google account is connected or our team has configured your connection to our Directory Network), you will see a “Save & Publish” button that will publish all applicable changes to the directories that are configured.
Another option for editing the details is to use the Edit Multiple button to edit the details for multiple businesses at once:
This gives you an option to select several businesses to edit the details for all of them at one time:
After you have selected the businesses that you want to edit, you should be taken to a page to edit the details with an indicator at the top of the page that shows that you are makes changes for more than one location:
