Our new Schedule & Post experience gives you more control and flexibility over your social media posts, including post previews for each platform and cross-platform editing, all in one streamlined workflow.

Using Schedule & Post

The first step of using our new Schedule & Post experience is to navigate to Schedule & Post, which is located under the Social Media tab.

This will bring you to the Schedule & Post page, where you can create posts for the social media platforms connected to your account.

To create a new post, pick the businesses and platforms that you would like to post to by clicking Select Businesses at the bottom of the Schedule & Post page:

This will allow you to select businesses that you would like to post to, as well as the social media platforms for each business.

If you have access to multiple businesses, you can select them by Group or choose all businesses connected to a specific social media platform by clicking the checkbox next to that platform’s icon. For example, if you want to post only to Instagram for all businesses with Instagram connected to Consumer Fusion, simply click the checkbox next to the Instagram icon:
Click the eyeball icon next to the number of Businesses Selected to filter and show only the businesses that have been selected to be posted to.

Once the social media platforms have been selected, click Save at the top of the screen, which will bring us back to the Schedule & Post page with the platforms selected!

Editing Your Post

Below the post caption box, there are five icons, as well as placeholders to edit your post:

: The magic wand will pull up the AI Caption Generator, where you can use AI assistance to create a caption for your post.

The calendar icon will bring up a calendar, which will allow you to schedule the post for a future time and date.

The image icon will allow you to upload an image to the post.

The video icon will allow you to upload a video to post.

Note: You cannot upload videos if Google is selected, as Google does not support video posts.

: The Content Library icon will pull up the content library, where you can post pre-made content that has been added to your Content Library.

Placeholders: Placeholders are used to auto-fill information per post, which will pull from the information filled out for the dashboard. This is useful for posting to multiple locations, while still adding information relevant to the business.

Example: Adding %business_name% and %city% to your caption will fill out the business as such: “Come by and visit Consumer Fusion in San Diego!” This caption will be different for the post on each business, updating the business name and city that is populated in the Consumer Fusion platform.

Another option to select is to either post to an Instagram Post or Reel. You can select this option by clicking the type of post next to the Instagram icon:

Customize Per Network

Our new Schedule & Post experience gives you the ability to customize the caption for your post across each social media platform. Want to be more specific in your caption on LinkedIn? Simply click the Customize Per Network button to get started!

Clicking Customize Per Network will give you the ability to select which platform you want to edit:

A confirmation will pop up when selecting a platform to customize. Click “Edit content” to move forward with editing the content for that specific business.

You can now move forward with editing the post caption for each individual platform.

Post Preview

On the right hand side of the page, you’ll see the post preview to get an approximate preview of how your post will look like on each social media platform.

At the top, you can select which platform to preview, as well as the type of device the post will be viewed on (Mobile or Web Browser).

Note: Post previews show an approximation of your post, it may look slightly different once published.

Posting

Once you have edited your post to your liking, you can move forward with posting!

The Post button will post to your selected social media platforms.

If you have scheduled this post to go out at a future time and date, this button will say Schedule instead, and will be added to your post queue.
