Each directory site has similar but slightly different steps to disputing inappropriate
content. With Google the first step is to flag the review and then you have to wait 7 days
for their review. If the review is still posted (which it usually still is) you can then open up a
dispute with a moderator. The moderator is who has the ability to escalate the review to
Google’s specialist team for review for possible removal.
